The Department of Civil Engineering at Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET) is going to organize the 2nd International Conference on Advances in Civil Engineering (ICACE-2014) during 26 to 28 December 2014. The successful completion of the 1st ICACE 2012 with overwhelming response and excellent status of the program, enthusiasm for 2nd ICACE has certainly been increased. ICACE provides an excellent forum for exchanging information and discussion on a wide variety of civil engineering topics representing the latest development and future trends. The goal of this conference is to bring together the leading academia, researchers, scholars, professionals and decision makers around the world in various fields of civil engineering to exchange new ideas, share knowledge and explore recent developments. CUET, a leading Engineering University in Bangladesh, situated at about 25 km away from the Chittagong City, is free from all sorts of pollutions with captive hilly and green landscape. Chittagong, the largest port city of the country, has several tourist attractions for sightseeing, including Potenga Sea-beach, Foys Lake, War Cemetery (2nd World War), Kapati Lake, Old Railway station, etc. around the city.
