Message from Head
We are living in the era of electronics and communication. The 5th generation industrial revolution stands on electronics and communication systems. To run with the next generation demands, Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE) takes initiative to produces world class engineers in the field of electronics and communication. As Head of the department of ETE at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), its my great pleasure that we do welcome you to our university and congratulate you for being admitted in this department. Our department is rather young but we are determined to build up world-class engineers and sincere, outspoken, tenacious and responsible persons from the enrolled brilliant students.
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is a dynamic and exciting arena of pedagogy that provides excellent career opportunities in various sectors of the society. Our aim is to educate the brilliant youth towards world-class education and to enable them to contribute to the development of our society by developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills as they advance through this program. The responsibilities and dedications or our teachers lead the ETE Department towards an outstanding learning environment, where the state-of-the-an laboratories, libraries, access to knowledge resources: abundance of computers. extracurricular activities and most importantly the personal care all are present.
This department is committed to the study and research of theoretical as well as applied problems. Teachers and students of the department work in solving problems in the fields of electrical engineering, principles, designs and applications analog and digital electronics, signal and image processing, multimedia communications and networking, biomedical engineering, microwave engineering, antenna analysis and design, optical fiber communication, broadband mobile cellular communications, VLSI and nano technology, solid-state devices, embedded systems. internet of thinks (loT) and so on. The supporting courses outside electronics and telecommunication engineering consist of a strong background in mathematics, physical sciences, social sciences, ethical values, management and humanities.
Albeit we are young in your journey, the quality, confidence, enthusiasm, and dedication we offer to lead Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering to new heights is indeed robust. Three batches are completed their journey from the department in time and do work in the country and aboard with name and fame. We endeavor our level best to provide a supportive and friendly atmosphere for our students.
