We are living in the era of electronics and communication. The industrial revolution 4.0 stands on electronics and communication systems. To cope with these digital advances as well as meet the next generation demands, the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE) started their graduate programs to proliferate the continuity in producing world class engineers in the field of electronics and communication. As Head of the department of ETE at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), We are delighted to welcome you to our university and congratulate you for being admitted in this department.

Our department is rather young, but we are determined to build up world-class engineers and sincere, outspoken, tenacious and responsible persons from the enrolled brilliant graduate students. Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is a dynamic and exciting arena of pedagogy that provides excellent career opportunities in various sectors of the society. It is an emerging field that is growing very fast and updated rapidly with a variety of research dimensions. To educate the brilliant graduate towards world-class education and to enable them to contribute to the development of our society by developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills, we have been relentlessly trying to modernize our graduate curriculums. The responsibilities and dedications of our teachers lead the ETE Department towards an outstanding learning environment, where the state-of-the-art laboratories, libraries, access to knowledge resources and abundance of computers all are present.

The department of ETE provided excellent research facilities and environments in several fields of electronics and communication such as designs of analog and digital electronics, signal and image processing, multimedia communications and networking, biomedical engineering, microwave engineering, antenna analysis and design, optical fiber communication, broadband mobile cellular communications, VLSI and nanotechnology, solid-state devices, embedded systems, Internet of think (loT), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and so on. These research facilities will definitely ameliorate the professional and research skills of young researchers and graduate students. We are optimistic that all the facilities and support will open up the doors for our graduate students to the development of a center of excellence in research and therefore, will be able to make a significant contribution to solving the technological problems of local as well as global communities.
