The vision of our department is to provide quality education and research in Pure and Applied Mathematics which help us to establish as a center of excellence at the national and international level. As an independent Department and a part of an Engineering University, the Department of Mathematics has following mission:
---To provide quality education primarily in the undergraduate level in different engineering branches as they are able to effectively apply their mathematical logical cognition to solve real-world problems.
--- To conduct high quality research at the postgraduate level with an aim to advance knowledge of Pure and applied Mathematics as they become assets of our country.
--- To develop new ideas in research and create collaboration with other departments and universities at home and abroad.
