The mission of the Department of Physics is mainly oriented to the development of innovative curricula by providing high-quality teaching, learning and analytical experience. Also, the department has its objective to accumulate knowledge from different branches of Physics through continuous improvement of the quality of scientific research, developing and sharing it with the scientific community; becoming a centre of attraction in the national and international arenas through its undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

The Physics Department aspires to be always focused on the core of academic achievements of our university with excellence in Physical sciences. The ultimate vision of the department is to build up a knowledge- based scientific community nationwide with an emphasis on social, democratic and ethical values.
