About Myself

Dr. Md. Arafat Rahman is a Professor of Department of Mechanical Engineering, Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), Bangladesh. He is offering lectures of various courses in undergraduate and postgraduate level. His main research interests are in the field of Vehicle Dynamics, Vibration, Material Science, and Electrochemistry. Dr. Rahman finished his PhD degree from Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology (FSET), Swinburne University of Technology (SUT) in April 2016. He worked on nanoporous materials as electrode of lithium batteries, especially of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). He developed different types of nanoporous materials and its performance as anode of LIBs was evaluated. Till date, several research articles from these investigations have been reported in various Journals. Apart from PhD study, He was two-times elected FSET student representative of SUT, helped student to reach their voice to University authorities. He also took part various volunteering work inside/outside of SUT. Dr. Rahman likes to engage with people through academic and research related post since idea and communication start to flow through collaborative process.
