About Myself

K. M. Ashraful Islam is employed as a full-time faculty member (Lecturer: February 2018 - August 2021; Assistant Professor: August 2021 - the present) in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), Bangladesh. His primary research interests are in geospatial analysis, remote sensing, urban microclimate, environmental modeling, and Earth System Processes. Aside from that, he is interested in seeing and assessing how individuals interact with and utilize the physical area around them. At the end of the day, the purpose is to contribute to the establishment of a society in which rigorous spatial allocation of spaces assures that civic life is free of annoyances.
