About Myself

I have graduated in April, 2019 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).

Currently, I am working on Transparent conducting oxides, specifically, "anion doped Zinc oxide" nano-particle and thin films for Window layer of optoelectronic devices.

My undergrad thesis topic was “Synthesis and Characterization of CuO Thin Films Following Sol-gel Spin Coating Technique” where I have worked under the supervision of Dr. Md. Muktadir Billah. Regarding my undergraduate research, my primary goal was to investigate different thin film materials for applications in solar-cells, antimicrobial activities, photovoltaic and gas sensors. For this purpose, I have developed a complete procedure to obtain a homogeneous and uniform Transition metal doped cupric oxide thin films. Following which, I have worked on optimizing optical properties by controlling optical band gap.

Field of Interest

Nano-particle synthesis, Nano-structured thin films, Opto-electronic devices
