Admission Procedure

Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) offers undergraduate programs in Engineering, Urban and Regional Planning (BURP), and Architecture (B. Arch). These programs are designed to train highly skilled professionals capable of contributing to the nation's technological advancement and infrastructural development. At present, no admission test is scheduled for these programs. All official announcements regarding admission notices, eligibility criteria, application procedures, and test schedules will be published exclusively through CUET's official website and other authorized channels. Prospective applicants are strongly advised to regularly visit the CUET website to stay informed about the latest updates, notifications, and official instructions regarding undergraduate admissions.

  • The examination center will be decided according to the grade points and marks obtained by the candidate in the four subjects, namely Mathematics, Science, Chemistry and English in Higher Secondary or equivalent examination and the candidates preference.
  • The university and the department for admission will be determined according to the merit rank obtained in the admission test by the candidate and his/her preference.
  • Application for admission, admission procedure regarding university and department selection order of the candidates who have qualified the admission test will be done online.

Admission Procedure for Foreign Students

Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) welcomes international students to apply for its undergraduate programs in Engineering, Urban and Regional Planning (BURP), and Architecture (B.Arch). Admission for foreign students is conducted directly through the International Affairs Office of CUET. All required documents, eligibility criteria, and application deadlines are published on the official CUET website and must be strictly followed by applicants.

  • Applicants must submit academic transcripts, passport copy, and relevant certificates attested by their Ministry of Education / Foreign Affairs.
  • Admission is based on previous academic performance in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English, along with overall academic merit.
  • Selected applicants will receive an official offer letter along with instructions regarding visa processing, enrollment, and accommodation.
  • All applications must be submitted online through CUET’s designated foreign admission portal or official email.
