Mission & Objectives

The overall aim of the Center is to create a Center of Excellence with state of the art research facilities and study on the issues related to Industrial Problems and Safety. In this regard, the followings shalI be the objectives of the Center:
a) To promote and provide facilities for

• Postgraduate diploma, seminar, symposium, training and short courses for the

professionals on the topics related to Industrial Problems and Safety;

• Advanced research and development for the researchers and professionals.

b) To provide help to Departments/ Institutes/ Centers at CUET making liaison with Industries/Institutes to do research aiming to solve industrial Problems for efficiency improvement, optimization and safety issues.
c) To bring research fund for Departments/institutes/Centres at CUET for doing research in Undergraduate/Postgraduate Level addressing industrials academic issues.
d) To provide necessary forum for Scientists, Engineers, Planners and Architects to exchange ideas on the current issues both in home and abroad.
e) To help formulating the codes of practice/policy for:
i) Optimized industrial operations /processes for efficient operations.
ii) Mitigating industrial operational risks.
