Welcome to our Institute of River, Harbor and Environmental Science

The Institute of River, Harbor and Environmental Science (IRHES) will be established to provide world class research and innovation to achieve “Center of Excellence”. It would be guided by an Advisory Committee of leading environmental practitioners and is committed to conduct research at advanced level. The Institute is expected to create state-of-the-art research facilities covering all aspect of River, Harbor and Environmental Science and Engineering topics in the context of national and global challenges. The Institute is also committed to develop curriculum, codes, standards, guidelines and regulations for safer environment and river and harbor management and practices. The Institute will also be involved in the public awareness building program in relation to River, Harbor and Environmental Science and Engineering issues which are subjected to national and international point of interest.The flexible mode of organization can be imposed by the scope of work by which the Institute may called upon to undertake and it may cover the academic, research and awareness activities under the existing and future possible joint collaboration with local and overseas Universities/ Institutes/ Research Centers/ Labs
