The Institute of River, Harbor and Environmental Science (IRHES) will be established to provide world class research and innovation to achieve “Center of Excellence”. It would be guided by an Advisory Committee of leading environmental practitioners and is committed to conduct research at advanced level. The Institute is expected to create state-of-the-art research facilities covering all aspect of River, Harbor and Environmental Science and Engineering topics in the context of national and global challenges. The Institute is also committed to develop curriculum, codes, standards, guidelines and regulations for safer environment and river and harbor management and practices.
