The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering has an enviable reputation for its high standard of teaching and community service. The department regularly produces graduates to take over the challenges of their profession.

Resent research in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering are in the field of Power Electronics, Electrical Machines and Drives, Renewable Energey and Energy Systems, Semiconductor physics and devices, VLSI Technology, Control Systems and Telecommunications etc.
