About Myself

I have received my Masters degree in Geoinformation Science & Earth Observation from the University of Twente in 2013 and Bachelor's degree in Urban & Regional Planning from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) in 2009. I am a faculty member (Assistant Professor) in the Department of Urban & Regional Planning with my expertise in urban land use planning, Geoinformation, remote sensing, natural hazards & disaster management. My teaching interests encompass undergraduate and graduate courses that involve basic and advance geoinformation science, geospatial analysis, natural hazards, urban planning principle. Recently I am also interested and taking classes on tourism & recreational planning & management and statistical analysis.

Spatial planning, Natural Hazards & Disaster Management, Urban Heat Island and Heat Risk, Geospatial Analysis, Landuse Land cover Change analysis, Climate change adapatation, Urban resilience & Sustainability, Environmental Modelling.
