Postgraduate Study Programs

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering offers two degree programs at the masters level- M.Sc. Engg. and M. Engg. For being qualified to be awarded M.Sc. Engg. degree a student must earn a minimum of 36 credit hours including a thesis of 18 credit hours whereas for M. Engg. degree a student must earn a minimum of 36 credit hours including a thesis of 6 credit hours. The graduate degrees offered in this department provide advanced course works and emphasize student research as well as numerous opportunities for interdisciplinary study. The graduate-level thesis works emphasize research topics on current interest, such as Bioinformatics, Computer Vision, Multimedia Security; Sensor and Ad-hoc Networks, Communication, Wireless Systems and so on.


CSE department also offers PhD degree from 2015. For being qualified to be awarded PhD degree a student must earn a minimum of 54 credit hours including a thesis of 45 credit hours.
